Thank you all for your prayers and support while I prepare my heart and all the details of my busy, crazy life to align with God’s purposes for this ministry trip to Israel coming up in just a few short days.
I continue to be amazed at how God not only directs our footsteps, but goes ahead of us to make a way when circumstances look impossible. So often he does not change anything we can see hindering us– he just changes US! I’ve been battling on many fronts at work with difficulties with computer systems. Everyone now days understands how frustrating dealing with computers can be. Well to put it in perspective, I’ve been doing that with 50 of them at once! Yeah, that’s besides my other responsibilities and my heart being tugged to concentrate on preparing my heart for the ministry I will dive into when I arrive in Jerusalem. But God!
I see his hand when something I’ve tried to do for several days, suddenly works– no explanation. Even my tech consultants are amazed. So the work will get done and God will get the glory for computer stuff. Ha! Even at home with prep work finishing the garden and yard, preserving the abundant harvest and giving away tons– God has given me the strength to get it all done in spite of my “feelings” of exhaustion and inability to do everything. Yes, some things get pushed aside for later, there is still the painting, kitchen back splash, refinishing the hardwood floors… but it will all apparently wait for God’s timing when I get back. Good reminders that God’s ways and priorities are quite different from my own.
Pray with me:
- That all goes smoothly with checkins, flights and security for this week’s flights and arrival in Jerusalem
- That God will go before me and make my path plain to see
- That favor and blessing will flow through me to all I encounter
- For Divine Appointments
